Police Monday arrested a 28-year-old man from the Hill neighborhood who had two outstanding warrants for allegedly threatening and assaulting a woman last week. They found him because he actually called the department Monday to lodge a complaint against the woman… Sgt. Sydney Collier arrested a 43-year-old man early Sunday morning near the Van Dome neightclub after spotting the man trying to break into parked cars, police said… Cops arrested nine men over the weekend on drug-dealing and possession charges during various busts around town. One of the busts netted $646, 50 bags of crack and 40 bags of marijuana. All but one of those arrested were from New Haven; one was from Clinton.
