“People with psoriasis have no Hollywood stars or other glitzy backers to bring attention to this disease. In fact, we have traditionally suffered in silence. But despite our low profile, Congresswoman DeLauro stepped in, and now millions of Americans will benefit.” So said the head of a not-for-profit advocacy group seeking a cure for psoriasis (shown above with the Congresswoman). His group gave New Haven’s Rosa DeLauro a “Health Care Advocate of the Year” award in Maryland Monday. Click here to read the release.
