Getting Ready for MLK’s Day

What part of Martin Luther King’s legacy do we forget? Karilyn Crockett is gathering written reflections on that question from people in the community to display this coming weekend at Yale’s Hall of Graduate Studies in conjunction with the celebration of the late civil rights hero’s birthday. E-mail her with contributions or questions… And MLK Day means Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church’s annual Love March, complete with prominent politicians and everyday people marching side by side. This year’s march includes a “Get on the Bus” theme in honor of Rosa Parks. The march begins at 100 Lawrence St. Sunday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. For info call 401-9339.
