Sing For Summer Jobs

“Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you act?” Organizers of a “Youth Council Talent Show Extravaganza” were wondering. If you can, show up at their auditions, Saturday, Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the New Haven Adult Education Building (580 Ella T. Grasso Boulevard). If you win at the auditions, you’ll be featured in the performance on April. The organizers of this event, students from the Workforce Alliance Youth Council, are staging it to benefit a program (Youth@Work) that finds summer jobs for 14-19 year-olds.
