The True Meaning of “Poverty Pimping”

Fresh from his election as a Democratic co-chair in Newhallville, Willie Greene (pictured) has this to say to a reader who accuses him of being a “poverty pimp”: “I am a product of God. I am still a work in progress.” Then he has a whole lot else to say about how plantation politics have hurt people in New Haven’s poorer neighborhoods.
