Cell thefts

A 16-year-old man reported being mugged while walking with two friends near Sherman and Whalley Avenues at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. He thought one of the two men who approached him had a black gun in his waistband, but he wasn’t sure. Gun or no gun, the two assailants made off with three cell phones.
