This just in from city police: A man involved in a domestic quarrel has been shot by a city patrol officer. Police responded at about 2:45 a.m. to a domestic dispute at 129 Henry St. A 31-year-old man was inside the house brandishing several knives. “Police gave several orders for (the assailant) to drop the knives, but he did not. Instead, he advanced toward the officers and one officer fired his weapon.” The man, a convicted felon now on parole, now suffers a non-life-threatening graze wound to his left forearm. “The officer, consistent with department policy, has been placed on Administrative Duties,” reads the police press release. Police did not identify who that officer is.
