Jolly Good Tax Cuts

Well not exactly tax “cuts.” But cuts in the big tax increase the mayor was proposing for the city this July. The Board of Aldermen has been working hard to find ways to make the increase smaller, from 4 to 2.64 mills. Finance Committee Chair Joe Jolly (pictured with family) has released a preliminary list of promising ways he and his colleagues have come up with so far. Click here to read Jolly’s list.
