Building on an unexpected debate at Southern between students and gubernatorial candidate Dan Malloy, one reader (a Malloy supporter) argues that no politican can “give anyone back the power they abdicate by not voting.” Another reader challenges Malloy to take a stand for democratic power (small d, and large d) by demanding that Joe Lieberman not bolt the party if he loses a primary.
