Baseball teams have celebrities open their season by throwing out the first ball. New Haven’s cherished “City Seed” neighborhood farmers’ market has two celebs lined up — chef Jacques Pepin and State Sen. Toni Harp — to open the season this Saturday by throwing out the first heads of lettuce. The festivities start around 11 a.m. across from the park in Wooster Square at the corner of Chapel and DePalma streets.
