A couple on East Rock’s North Bank Street awoke Sunday to find their house had been burglarized overnight. Burglars broke in through a window screen in the rear of the house on the first floor before 5:30 a.m. and took “numerous electronic items,” said police. … Friday morning, an apartment on the Ella T. Grasso Boulevard was “ransacked” by thieves who forced a rear door open. … And Friday at 2:30 a.m. on Beaver Hill’s Osborne Avenue, four visiting Hispanic males were jumped by seven black males on bikes, ages 17 to 20. The muggers, who had a gun, beat one man up who tried to resist, then took the young mens’ cell phones and wallets, according to police. M.B.
