Party Animal

U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman is forming a new party for his possible independent run in November. (Click here for the Courant story.) He calls it the “Connecticut for Lieberman. Party.” Not as flat as Lowell Weicker’s old “A Connecticut Party,” but Joe could still use some more oomph. Any suggestions? Click here to propose a party name by posting a comment, and to report whether or not you laughed when watching Democratic challenger Ned Lamont’s new “Messy Desk” commercial mocking Lieberman’s nasty attack campaign. Keeping with the "Party Animal" theme, how about "The Joerassic DINOsaur Party"

The "I,Me,Mine" Party? 'Cause it's all about Joe.

And yes, I laughed at the new Hillsman ad. I just wish someone would get Joe on the record as to whether his foreign, economic, and social politics are to the Left, or Right of Lamont's. (I see Joe as insanely to the Right on FP, economically to the Left of Lamont, {who has run his own business}, and socially to the right of Lamont.) If you just looked at this quick summary, who is most in sync with Connecticut?

I laughed at Ned, yes. It was light-hearted, but it carried a good point.

Joe's party? How about: "Self-appointed Senator for Life" party? He seems to think he's entitled.
