Officer Dan Still Clinging to Life

Officer Dan (pictured), the popular 17-year veteran of the force who was hit by an SUV while working traffic duty Tuesday night, is still clinging to life in “extremely critical condition,” said police at a press conference Thursday morning. Police have determined that Dan Picagli was indeed wearing a reflective vest when hit. No charges have been filed on the driver, who police confirmed was the federal judge John Walker. Police have no reason to believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, said police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester. An investigation is ongoing with the help of the state police. M.B.
