Rodriguez Named Teacher of Year

Visitors crowded into Gloria Rodriguez’s class at Wilbur Cross High School Thursday to watch her teach — and congratulate Rodriguez (pictured), who’s been in the classroom for 23 years, as she received the city’s “Teacher of the Year Award.” The well-wishers included Myrna Montalvo of Truman School, who completed her stint as the 2005-6 teacher of the year.
