Sun: Joe Does Back Dems
by Paul Bass | October 9, 2006 6:15 AM | Permalink | Comments (1)
Sen. Joe Lieberman’s reelection campaign spokeswoman, Tammy Sun, called to clarify his position on the three Democrats running to unseat Republican U.S. Congressmen in Connecticut this year. Like other media outlets, the Independent has reported Lieberman’s comment that he remains a “noncombatant” in those races. “Joe is endorsing the Democratic candidates for the Congressional races,” Sun said. “he has said it before. That is his official position.” Lieberman, who lost the Aug. 8 Democratic primary to Ned Lamont, is running in the general election as the “Connecticut for Lieberman” candidate… Ned Lamont, meanwhile, plans a rally here in New Haven Monday night on the Yale campus, Room 114 of the building at the corner of Prospect Street and Grove Street. … Anyone seen a Republican?

Of course Joe Lieberman is backing Democrats in local elections. Joe Lieberman IS a democrat and has always maintained that he will continue to be a democrat.
There is a far-left liberal running against him for the seat. The ideologies of the far-left, which believes in their way or no way, is not democratic in nature at all. The big party tent of the democrats, which covers from center out, is in the rifle scope of partisan liberal bloggers and their candidate Ned Lamont.
Connecticut needs the bipartisan centrism of democrat Joe Lieberman--a man capable of making the deals needed to bring home federal dollars for jobs, highways, education and so much more. It doesn't need the divisive, partisanship of far-left, secular to themselves, liberals like Ned Lamont.
Everyone in Connecticut needs to bet their bottom dollar and vote the bottom line--Joe Lieberman is the man that wins for Connecticut. Joe 5ive is the candidate working for all the people, unlike Ned Lamont who is working to further the agenda of far-left liberals.
