A state judge struck a blow for the rights of people in Connecticut to know how their tax dollars are being spent — specifically, $700 million being spent by HMOs to make sure (or maybe not) that the poor get health care. State government watchdog Kevin Lembo (pictured) proclaimed that the ruling moves the state “one step closer to accountability.” Click here to read more.
