As women in the U.S. fight a to maintain the right to abortion, women to the South are fighting more extreme restrictions in countries like Nicaragua, which just banned abortion. The Independent’s Melinda Tuhus (pictured) interviewed the director of the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Western Hemisphere Region about the trend.
