A man was shot on Hallock Street; a person on the Yale campus was robbed after opening his wallet to give a stranger a dollar at 2 a.m.; cops arrested two teen purse-snatchers as well as another suspect in 18 year-old Johnny Walker’s murder; and a dog attacked a cop’s horse, throwing the officer to the ground and spurring a 10-minute dog vs. horse chase through the Dwight/Edgewood neighborhood at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
