Fatal Newhallville Shooting

Several people heard gunshots outside 45 Sheldon Terrace Thursday morning at 5:47 a.m. When they got outside, they found a man in his 30s in the parking lot, shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have not yet identified the man, the city’s 23rd homicide victim this year. … A man was robbed by two masked men with a gun in the hallway of 1499 Ella Grasso Blvd. at 8:56 p.m. Wed. … And the Day’s Inn at 275 Foxon Blvd was robbed at gunpoint at 11:15 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester.
