Curfew Debate Brings A Challenge

On a second night when passionate teens spoke out against a proposed citywide curfew, an alderwoman challenged Sahib Hobby (pictured) and his friends to come up with a plan of their own for a place for kids to hang out. He accepted — and the politicians agreed to help.

Are you kidding me? Parents take responsibility for your kids. They may be teenagers, but they are still kids.
Slap a curfew on the city. Too bad, if it curtails your running the streets all hour of the night. A curfew is like a big time out for our neighborhoods. Dont you think we need it? Kids nowadays dont understand that there are consequences for inappropriate behavior. Murder, attacks, vandalizing property, disturbing the peace, and intimidating older neighbors are not behaviors that merit any treatment as if they are equal to adults.
Time for a time out. Curfew now! The city needs it. Then we will talk to the children once they have taken it down a notch.
