The weekend saw three muggings “” one in East Rock, one on Howard Avenue, and another of a 67 year-old hospital employee near St. Raphael’s. … And residents in a Beaver Hills home were robbed of an Xbox at gunpoint. Read on for more crime details, according to police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester.

Three attempted muggings:

A man told police he was walking to his car at 27 Canner St. in East Rock at 7:45 p.m. Friday when two male teens pulled out a gun and demanded money. When he told them he didn’t have any money, they punched him in the face and fled.

At 1:06 a.m Sunday, a man was robbed by two unarmed men near Howard Avenue and Spring Street.

A 67 year-old employee of St. Raphael’s Hospital was mugged near his place of work, at Waverly and George Streets, at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

And on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., four men with guns pushed their way in the front door of a home on Carmel Street. A complainant who lives in the house told police one man held gun to his/her head while the other three robbed the house, taking a cell phone, money, and an Xbox video game system.
