Info Sought in Sexual Assaults

Police seek help solving a string of sexual assaults, believed to be connected, by an unknown man who broke into women’s houses in the early morning hours and attacked them over the last year. Click here for the police department release.

And police are investigating the possible connection between three Westville muggings: over the weekend on Elmwood Road and Central Ave/West Elm Street, and Monday at 5:30 p.m. on Woodside Terrace, when a man got out of a light-colored Altima with temporary plates in the back window, approached a neighbor getting home from work, asked for his wallet, then drove off. If you see anything suspicious, especially an unfamiliar person sitting in a car, call the police non-emergency number, 946-6316.
