An East Rock laundromat worker, a Fair Haven Chinese food deliveryman and a woman in a downtown parking garage were all robbed at gunpoint or simulated gunpoint Wednesday night.

Read on for more crime details, according to police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester.

A woman on the seventh floor of Yale-New Haven’s Air Rights Garage was approached by an unknown man at 6:27 p.m. Wednesday. He pulled out knife and gun and demanded her possessions. She received a small laceration to her face. He took her cell phone and left his gun, which turned out to be a BB Gun disguised as a pistol.

A Chinese food delivery man from the Golden Wok at 118 East Pearl St. was delivering food to 65 Lombard at 6:44 p.m. when two masked subjects approached, taking his money, cell and the food.

A woman working at the Bubble and Squeak Laundromat at 165 Willow St. was cleaning the floor at 9:26 p.m. Wednesday when a man came in demanding cash. He produced a white sock that appeared to have a gun in it, took money, and ordered her to stay in the rear bathroom until he was able to flee.

At 1:18 a.m. Thursday at Howard Avenue near Sea Street, officers responded to reports of gunshots but found no ballistic evidence upon arriving on the scene. Police later tracked down and arrested a 26-year-old man passing through the nearby Church Street South housing complex for carrying a fully loaded 380 caliber gun.

And the Clinton Food Center at 284 Clinton Ave. was robbed by a masked man with a gun at 6:51 p.m. Tuesday.
