A 46-year-old man remains in critical condition Thursday afternoon after being shot in the upper right leg at 3:38 a.m. near 109 Pine St. in Fair Haven. … And when a second man got into a car accident at 2:45 a.m. at 391 Edgewood Ave., officers noticed his leg was injured. He told police he had been shot in the leg 12 hours earlier in an attempted robbery at Whalley and Sherman Avenues, according to police spokeswoman Bonnie Winchester.
