2 To Nominate King Replacement

Whom will the Democratic Party nominate to replace the recently resigned Dixwell Ward 22 Alderman Drew King? That decision will be left to two people, one of whom is running for the seat herself. Ward 22 Co-Chairs Sheneane Ragin and Cordelia Thorpe (pictured, who’s also a candidate) will vote at a Democratic Town Committee meeting Thursday at the Conte/West Hills school at 6 p.m. Thorpe and Greg Morehead are the only two known candidates at this time. Democratic Town Committee Chairwoman Susie Voigt will make a tie-breaking vote if needed. M.B.
