images.jpgMini-editorial: Sign this petition and save Internet radio! A Copyright Review Board decision to jack up royalties is already reportedly putting some online stations out of business and endangering other terrific grassroots non-corporate outlets (like my two faves: Pandora and Paradise). Musicians deserve fair royalties, but recording companies are shooting themselves in the foot by supporting this huge change; innovative online radio has been their only new hope (and artists’ hope) of luring millions of listeners to purchase music they wouldn’t have otherwise heard.
