“Wholly Without Merit”

That’s what a federal arbitrator wrote about an an effort by Yale-New Haven Hospital to withhold documents revealing the extent to which top management was involved in discussions about violating a labor-labor peace agreement last fall. The arbitrator has ordered documents released to the union trying to organize Yale-New Haven’s blue-collar workers; the hospital is starting to argue that the arbitrator no longer has jurisdiction over parts of the dispute.
