N’Zinga Shani brought together Yale docs and a public-access studio audience for life-saving talk about a fact that hasn’t been getting out to enough women: Diseases of the heart and blood vessels lead to more American deaths than all other diseases combined. Click here for Melinda Tuhus’ report.

N'Zinga Shani's public access program is a great benefit to the community. It is informative and empowering. It is also one of the only programs in Connecticut that addresses health care in the African American community. I commend her for all of her efforts

Hello N'Zinga:
I trust that you are feeling much better and well enough to continue the good work you are doing. The ministry of health information is so very important; the more we can spread it to as many as we can reach, the better our community will be. I am praying that God will continue to bless you with knowledge and understanding to
help us stay in good health. I have such great admiration for the work you do, and for your commitment to the community.
It is truly a blessing that you are able to get experts into the television studio to answer questions from the community. It is equally helpful that those of us who were not there, and who cannot see the programs, get the opportunity to read all about it on this wonderful website long after it has happened. This technology is also a blessing. I learned much from reading the article; thanks to you and everyone involved.
Please take great care of yourself; my very best wishes to you always.
Love, Sylvia.
