SUV Smashes Into Porch; Snakes Stolen

Workers hurried to fix a Sherman Avenue porch Wednesday after a zooming SUV, driven by a man who appeared to be under the influence, smashed into an apartment building, forcing nine people to evacuate… In other crime news, two snakes were stolen by a cat burglar, and cops siezed 15 guns from a man charged with threatening a baby with a rifle.
