A 43 year-old was robbed at gunpoint at Chapel and Chestnut Streets, 1:20 a.m. Tuesday.
A 19-year-old city man walked into Yale-New Haven Hospital Tuesday, saying he had been shot at midnight on Winchester Ave and Read Street.
At Shelton Ave and Read Street, at 3:23 a.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old woman was approached by two men she didn’t know and was robbed of several personal items.
A man was carjacked at knifepoint at 11:53 a.m. at 384 Greenwich Ave. The car was later found, abandoned.
Over the weekend, an 18-year-old man was shot in his “mid section” early Sunday morning at 167 East St.
And a three-month-old baby arrived at the hospital Saturday afternoon, suffering from sudden infant death syndrome. The baby’s father told police he noticed the baby was non-responsive, and instead of calling 911, pushed it up Howard Avenue to the hospital in a stroller. The family is being cooperative in the investigation, police said.
