New Haven’s mayor earned a new nick- name Thurs- day afternoon in an interview with WTIC’s Colin McEnroe about the news that Steven Spielberg will be shooting a scene from the next Harrison Ford flick around the Yale campus. Click here — then click again at right on “Colin McEnroe with Mayor John DeStefano” to hear the interview, in which the King of Tinseltown talks about the jobs, hotel bookings and food purchases he hopes the filming will bring. (He also talks about plans to bring windmills to New Haven.) Click here for McEnroe’s blog prediction about the script. And click here to post your own scenarios for the script.

Instead of installing "Windmills" in the city, perhaps we should look into installing "Wind Turbines". Windmills are used to mill grain or pump water. Wind Turbines are used to generate electricity. Windmills have been around for literally thousands of years, where wind turbines have only feasible for large-scale energy generation since the 1980's.
That said, good for Destefano for raising the issue. Wind energy is currently the best, most cost-competitive renewable available. Ted Kennedy quit his NIMBY bickering and get that Cape Wind project off the ground.
...oh yeah, comments on the Indy Movie. That's going to be an awfully short car chase.

Indy and his father retired from there adventures after finally securing the safety of the world from the Nazi's. They both moved to New Haven became professors at Yale. When receiving a shipment of old artifacts at the Peabody Museum, Indy notice an old chest. It was part of a collection from the Quinnipiac Indians that once resided in this area. He brought it to his father to see if he could read the writings on it before attempting to open it. He was able to read some of it....
"He who finds this chest will release the sprit of the true ruler of the Quinnipiac."
When Indy's father was examining the chest he must of hit a secret button, because it opened. A mystical white stream of smoke serpented it's way from the box and around the father, it transformed him into a Indian warrior. It then found it's way around Indy only to leave him standing there in a loin cloth. An wispy voice came from the box (of course it was in english not indian so that the movie goers could follow the story line). only saying this...
"place we called home many moons ago has become the breeding ground of evil and needs to be restored to a place of joy and happiness."
Once the voiced ceased Indy and his father found themselves on the backs of 2 stallions riding threw the Peabody then down the street to where they finally stopped in the front of New Haven town hall...................
You need to see the movie to find out the adventures of Indy and his father and ridding the world of evil.
Trailer zooms out with Indy and his famous whip snapping at ????????

I meant to say Ted Kennedy "should" quit his NIMY bickering. As far as I know, he has not withdrawn his opposition to that project.
