Prokop Will Head Public Works

After a search that lasted longer than the city hoped, New Haven has a new public works director: John Prokop. Prokop (at left in photo) will resign his current post as head of security for the housing authority, as well as his seat on the Board of Ed, to take his new job, which begins June 4.
