Porch Shooting

A victim was on the porch of 26 Carmel St. in Beaver Hills at 12:02 a.m. Thursday when gunshots flew, piercing the victim’s right thigh. Police found two shell casings at the scene, from different caliber guns.

A victim was on Dixwell Avenue near Bassett Street at 12:24 a.m. Thursday when a male teen approached on a bike, displaying a silver revolver. He took $84 and a cell phone. The perp, described as a tall, thin 15-year-old wearing a Yankees hat, fled on his bike.

And someone broke into Josie’s Big Apple Beauty Supplies store at 117 Whalley Ave. before 1:54 a.m. Thursday. Thieves ransacked the register, but found only $21.
