Just before 2:20 a.m. Thursday, a woman was driving on Rt. 80 in a truck with a dirt bike on the back. As she sat stopped at a traffic light, she saw a man emerge from a Honda. The man, wearing in a backwards baseball hat, approached the car and said, “Give me your keys.”

Meanwhile, she heard a banging behind her.

With that, the woman sped away on her truck. When she got home, she noticed one of the straps that was holding her dirt bike had been cut, but the bike was still there.

Today’s crime report was provided according to city spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga.

She should have thrown it into reverse and crushed guy.

I agree but no doubt she would have been arrested by one of New Haven's finest and the lowlife would end up suing her, winning and then going on disability for his injuries.
