Well, he's pretty good actually but those graphics have to go! they are all stretched out and blurry - they really look unprofessional which makes the mayor and the whole thing look CHEESY.

The Mayor is a charlitan. Why can't he hold a press conference when it's announced the city schools have a 55% graduation rate, or that our roads are crumbling, or the city housing is overrun with violence and bed bugs, or why doesnt' he hold a press conference telling us exactly why the multimillion tennis center sits EMPTY except for the week of the pilot pen. Why isn't the site used to generate income for the city (concerts, outdoor events, high school & college tennis tournaments). Before he was mayor, he helped the Volvo internation tennis tournament to us with the promise of a state of the art tennis stadium that would be used often. who sold us out. did a few families in the swamps surrounding the stadium get a bigger say than the rest of the city? i live in westville, and i'd love to have more events both at the tennis center and the yale bowl.
A charlitan i tell you.

Reminds me of Fiorello H. LaGuardia years ago. It's good to communicate.
Now we need to spend a little time getting some really qualified city administrators (not like the "ninety day wonders" we have, but more like the really experienced, dedicated people Fiorello brought on board in NYC years ago)

I think it is good that the Mayor's office keep up on all the latest methods of media messaging. If this is how some people even kids get their news and information then New Haven should be frount and center.

I am also a Westville resident. I agree whole-heartedly with the above thought.

The mayor and his colleagues need to stop having press conferences and 'vlogging', and start doing more about the things they would like to have press conferences about.
Remember the new noise meters that they enthusiastically presented (at a press conference) to reduce noise pollution? Where are they and what has the city done for noise enforcement. This summer is as loud as ever.
Remember the speed bumps? The one that they said was on Perkins St. (at a press conference) wasn't there at the time and still isn't there.
