Officer Recovering From Crash

Officer Craig Miller was hit in his police cruiser while driving through Fair Haven Wednesday night. The crash happened at Lombard and James. The offending driver fled on foot. Miller got “banged up and bruised,” was treated for minor injuries, and is now at home, recovering from the incident, according to police spokesmen Officer Joe Avery and Jessica Mayorga.

In other news, according to Avery:

A chinese deliveryman had just dropped off some food at 84 Exchange St. Wednesday night when two masked men approached him. The showed a gun, stole $300 and fled.
