Some consider the achievement gap in public schools the number-one civil-rights challenge facing cities like New Haven. An expert in how to address that gap, Yale’s M. Ann Levett, will become the newest member of New Haven’s Board of Ed, replacing Patricia McCann- Vissepo. Click here for a press release on Levett’s appointment.
