A man told police that two men approached him in an alley at 336 Whalley Ave. at 6:41 p.m. Wednesday.

Here’s what happened, according to police spokesman Officer Joe Avery.

The two guys, one in a white hoody, robbed the victim of $17 and a gold chain. They started to run. Two cops spotted the suspects, and arrested a 19-year-old man. The other suspect got away.

A Chinese food delivery man was robbed at gunpoint at 8:23 p.m. on Button Street.

And a man was sitting in his 2006 Dodge Charger outside 370 Dixell Ave. at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when two men came up “out of nowhere.” They hit him on the head with a gun and kicked him in the ribs, then drove off in his car.

And a family had to relocate after a fire at 447 Fountain St. Tuesday evening.
