The police chief sat down with high-school reporters and spoke about his youth, his career, and questions raised in an earlier report security at Wilbur Cross High School.
Miya Brooks and Devon Youmans conducted the interview with Francisco Ortiz in his office at 1 Union Ave. They prepared the report as part of their work on the Reel News project, a collaboration between Youth Rights Media and the New Haven Independent. Click on the play arrow to watch.
