Three people, including two elderly men, were held up and robbed Wednesday afternoon/evening in the same part of Dixwell, according to police spokesman Officer Joe Avery.

According to Avery, victims’ descriptions revealed the same m.o. in each case. Perps were described as two teen boys, one in a white hoodie, the other in a dark hoodie. The muggings happened at 749 Dixwell Ave. at 2:40 p.m.; at 195 Bassett St. at 4:26 p.m. and at Hazel and Dixwell at 6:05 p.m.

Over at Whalley and Norton at 9:27 p.m., a victim was held up at gunpoint by two men. One wore a mask; the other wore an army jacket and pajama pants. The victim didn’t have any money, so her brother gave the perps five bucks and they scooted.

At 9:42 p.m., a man arrived at the hospital with serious wounds to his head, hand and arm. He told medics he was chased by subject with gun, but he passed out before he could tell them any more details.
