Students Pass The Word — & The Protection

view.jpegCity high schoolers took to the Green to hand out condoms and talk straight up about safe sex.

The event was organized by Planned Parenthood. Reel News reporters Miya Brooks, Bianka O’Bryan and Devon Youmans, who attend New Haven public high schools, showed up to interview the students about what they were doing and what’s at stake.

We have failed our children.
What is sex education? Does it treat the whole person? These children are physically capable of having sex. They are not mature enough to understand the importance of a committed and stable relationship; what we use to call marriage.
