Police report a Wooster Home invasion, a gunshot at Cody’s Diner and a teen shooting this weekend. Here’s what happened, according to police:

Home Invasion

A woman was home on the 200-block of Wooster Street at 1:59 a.m. Monday when 3-6 men broke into the home and began punching her in the face. “Give up the money,” they yelled, according to the victim. The victim said the men left after failing to find what they were looking for. She sustained a broken nose and two swollen eyes.

Newhallville Shooting

A 19-year-old man heard a gunshot on Lilac and Newhall Streets Sunday at about 3:49 p.m. He looked down and realized he had been shot in the upper left leg. He ran north on Newhall Street to Huntington Street. Then he lay down and called his friend.

Frat Raid

A Yale fraternity house at 235 Dwight St. was raided during spring break. Students returning home at about 2:15 a.m. Monday found the side front door forced open. Thieves took laptop computers, iPods, printers and other electronic equipment totaling at least $10,000.

Cody’s Calamity

Cops arrested a 23-year-old city man at the popular Cody’s Diner on Water Street early Saturday morning. Police say the man was in the area of the diner at 2:19 a.m. when he shot a .9-mm pistol. Cops seized the pistol and arrested the man, a convicted felon, on several gun charges.

Detectives are investigating if the suspect was the same person who had shot a gun minutes before that, on nearby Hamilton Street at the Van Dome nightclub.

Narcotics Task Force

Cops made a drug arrest on Friday at 245 Howard Avenue, 2nd Floor. Seized from the residence were 69 bags of marijuana weighing about 39.2 grams, about 5.3 grams of crack cocaine and $486.00 in cash. And detectives made six drug and warrant arrests, some of whom they were interviewing in connection to a murder.
