Chef’s Secrets Imparted

This photo, sent in by Christian Community Action, shows one of the chefs who will be participating in Taste of New Haven April 17 at the Omni. Greg Bozzi, co-owner of Donovan’s Reef in Branford, is with a group of fifth-and sixth-grade students from the Fair Haven Middle School, to whom he was teaching how to prepare lasagna. The students are, left to right, Alejandro Ramirez, fifth grade; Jan Ramos, sixth grade, Myra Gonzales, sixth grade; Shakira Rodriguez, sixth grade and Marlene Gonzales, fifth grade.
The event, one of 55 such events held nationally under the auspices of an organization called Share Our Strength, will feature 30 restaurants and is designed to raise funds to support the Connecticut Food Bank and Christian Community Action.
