Wanted Man

Police are in search of this man (pictured), Bruce Foreman. His last known address is 476 Howard Ave.
Foreman, who’s 24, “is considered armed and dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution,” police say. “Wanted for the following charges. F.T.A. 1st, criminal possession of a pistol, criminal possession of a weapon, and many weapon and drug related charges.”
Anyone with any information of his whereabouts should call 946-6316 or the Investigative Services Division at 946-6304.
In other crime news, police tracked down a car allegedly taken in a carjacking and made a drug and gun arrest. Read the police department’s written report below:
Stevens Street. Officers Luna and Helland saw a 1995 infiniti j30 that
was taken in a car jacking with a gun approx one week ago parked on
Stevens Street. They took up surveillance and saw a black male and two
females get into the car. They attempted to stop the car and the car
fled toward Howe Street to Chapel Street. The operator bailed out on Chapel and ran toward T. Dwight School and was apprehended. McCray was charged with Larceny 3rd, engaging officer in pursuit, and reckless driving.
Gun and drug arrest - 205 Lloyd Street @ 1825 hrs. Wednesday
Officers were dispatched to the area of 73 Woosley Street near Lloyd
Street on a report narcotic activity. The caller reported that a group
of males at said location were dealing drugs and a burgundy Dodge
Stratus was involved. Officers Luckingham and E. Rivera responded to the
call and saw a Burgundy Dodge Stratus parked in front of 73 Woosley
occupied by two male subjects. As they approached the suspect vehicle
the passenger door flung open and the front seat passenger ran out of
the vehicle into the rear yards of 205 Lloyd Street. The officers
detained the operator of said vehicle and identified him as XXX (7/8/82) of 730 George Street, in New Haven. Officers Luckingham and Rivera located a chrome 9mm handgun with a wooden handle in the center console of the vehicle. The serial number of
the handgun was visibly altered. The make and serial # of the weapon
were not available. We confirmed XXX was a convicted felon
actively on parole. He was arrested on all applicable weapons charges.
Search incident to the arrest, Officer Luckingham and Det. Pelletier
seized 75 bags of crack cocaine, 3 “eight balls of crack cocaine and 7
bags of marijuana located on XXX. He was subsequently charged with
possession of controlled substance WITS 1500 ft of a school, sale of
narcotic substance, possession of narcotics, weapon in a motor vehicle,
criminal poss of a pistol, carrying a pistol without a permit and other
motor vehicle charges.
