Cabbie Robbed

A metro taxi driver went to 80 E. Ramsdell St. at 12:01 a.m. Sunday to pick up some passengers, according to police. Two men emerged from the side of the house. They got in the cab. They said they were going to 140 Henry St. After the cabbie drove a short distance, one of the passengers told him to stop. The other man put a gun to his head.

They demanded cash. they took $70 and fled after firing two bullets.

Two men burst into the Sunoco station at 11:45 p.m. Sunday. One went to the clerk; the other went to the rear of the store, put on a mask, then took out a revolver. They ordered the clerk to empty the register into a backpack. They made off with $650 and fled.

At first, the clerk pressed a hold-up alarm after the men robbed the store. The signal never went through. NHPD finally called at 12:03 a.m. Monday and reported to the scene.
