Hundreds and hundreds such 'accidents' every day; people dying and being injured; why aren't people outraged at the carnage?

Ok IO just talked to the kid that owns the car. A box truck ran a red light and slammed into him sent him flying. He is still getting some test done but is out of the hospital and in good spirits...on top of trying to do his finals.

There's a oollision on my street, one leading to the highway entrances every month if not more often. I got the drill down calling 911 from my computer desk.
