A man told police he was asleep in his bedroom on Fair Haven’s Lloyd Street early Friday when someone shot up his home. The bullets flew at about 4 a.m., according to police. His bedroom window shattered. Glass cut his arm. Police found one projectile on his living room floor, and another inside a red vehicle parked outside the home.

Pot House Busted Twice

Cops returned for a second drug bust on a Hill area home Thursday. The narcotics task force searched 202 Rosette St. and seized: “2.7 lbs. of marijuana packaged in 35 bags for sale, packaging material, scales and large amount of cash.”

Two residents there, ages 24 and 25, already had outstanding arrest warrants stemming from a bust on the same property on June 17. During that bust, cops had seized 1.2 lbs of marijuana and $12,505.00. Both were put in cuffs Thursday.

Also arrested was a 20-year-old man who allegedly sold marijuana out of the house two times after the June bust.

House Fire

Thirteen kids and four adults were temporarily evacuated from their homes at 84 Kensington St. after a two-alarm fire at the apartment building Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., according to fire marshal Joe Cappucci. The fire started in a second-floor apartment, Cappucci said. About 45 firefighters showed up to put it out. The fire was contained to one apartment, though the apartment downstairs suffered from some water damage. Other members of the apartment complex were evacuated and put up by the American Red Cross due to smoke inhalation concerns.
