Someone broke into the Cayeyana Donis Bakery at 188 Lamberton St. over the weekend and stole $2,000, according to police spokesman Officer Joe Avery.

The bakery had been left unlocked because workers didn’t have keys, he said. There are no suspects in the burglary.

And Avery confirmed that four people were injured in three shootings over the weekend:

A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg at 409 Blatchley Ave. in Fair Haven Saturday night at 10:45 p.m. She was having an argument with someone when the person took out a gun and shot her.

Saturday morning, a 23-year old man was shot in the right arm in Newhallville. The incident happened around 2 a.m. near Newhall and Lilac Streets.

And two males were wounded in a double-shooting at Howard Ave and Spring Street at about 2:30 a.m. One victim, age 20, was shot twice in the leg. A 16-year-old also received non-life threatening wounds.

Young people, stay inside! Most of these shootings take place between 10pm - 6am, when you should be at home, asleep! Avoid being in the wrong place at the wrong time, be safe.
