holder%3Ablango.pngTwo candidates face off Tuesday in a Democratic Primary in a race to fill retiring State Rep. Bill Dyson’s 94th District State Assembly seat.

Registered Democrats in about a fifth of the city will decide whether party-endorsed Charles Blango or challenger Gary Holder-Winfield will run in November against an independent, Willie Greene. Click here, here, here, and here for articles about the race.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. There are six polling stations:

Ward 1 (Yale): New Haven Free Public Library, Main Branch, 133 Elm St.
Ward 7 (Downtown): Hall of Records, 200 Orange St.
Ward 19 (East Rock/Newhallville): Celentano School, 400 Canner St.
Ward 20 (Newhallville): Lincoln/Bassett School, 130 Bassett St.
Ward 21 (Dixwell): Urban Youth Center Middle School (formerly the MLK School), 580 Dixwell Ave.
Ward 22 (Dixwell): Wexler/Grant School, 55 Foote St.
