It is a sad day in the career of our favorite US Senator. Quid-pro-quo as they say? The chairmanship of the banking committee should come to an end for Mr. Dodd. He may be partly to blame for the crisis. For what a point or two discount on a few mortgages and a few dollars in the campaign coffers.Very Very Sad

Our Senators -- senior and junior. What a sorry pair of self interested money grubbers! We can't get rid of the Senator from Wall St. til 2010 and the Senator who represents his own self interest as well as the out-of-the-mainstream-Sara-Palin crazy right wingers doesn't end his current term 'til 2012. Unfortunately, we don't have an effective recall law.

YTDAW,

I've contemplated this many times...is it true that there is no constitutional mechanism for the recall of a Congressperson?

Paul, stop playing the race card and do your homework.

There is a LONG list of anti-semites in Obama's past, all of whom bankrolled his political career and quite possibly his education as well. The issue isn't that Obama is black, the issue is that he has run with anti-semites and anti-whites his whole life.
